I mainly use pencils for remembering and developing ideas.

Pb is a website for some ideas that I have followed wherever they lead.

See me try not to be annoying while probably being annoying!

I'm Spike (He / Him). A digital page suits me because my normal handwriting isn't the best. In fact my book pages were apparently so illegible that I was the mandated and sole member of Mossbourne's 'Handwriting Club' until it was decided that I should use one of the laptops to write with.

These I mostly used for making ASCII art and looking up topics of varying relevance, only to then ignore the keyboard in favour of hurriedly and untidily scribbling in my book.

I managed to do quite well in school despite the time spent in the evenings watching TV and films, video-gaming, and being on the internet.

After university I had another laptop, countless untidy pages, spent long hours with hundreds of books in the library, and a first-class degree in Comparative Literature.

This degree, made up of modules from various disciplines, left me with a better ability and renewed passion to disassemble whatever I come across and reconfigure the pieces into working ideas.

Since then I have done marketing for a start-up, performed freelance research and proofreading for international publishing companies and a news website, and had a stint as a house sitter slash mouse killer. I did not - and neither did I ever want to - kill, catch, or clap eyes on a single mouse and it wasn't so bad.

I've also filled more untidy pages, hopefully this one is clear enough.
